ABOUT Tsuru-do Kan Karate Utrecht

Do you want to become the best version of yourself by improving self-confidence, developing strength and fitness, and having fun at the same time in a traditional Japanese dojo environment? Then there is a place for you at Tsuru-do Kan. All levels are welcome, whether you're a first-timer or an experienced black belt. Classes are taught in English and the minimum age is 16 years old.

Kevin Chao-Sensei

Wado-Ryu Karate

The karate classes are taught by Kevin Chao, official JKF Wado-kai 3rd-kyu instructor and 5th-degree black belt. Kevin-sensei's lessons are characterised by a clear focus on form and technique, rooted in a deep respect for Japanese tradition.

Carl Möller-Sensei

Ryukyu Kobujutsu (Kobudo)

The kobujutsu classes are taught by Carl Möller, 3rd-degree black belt. Carl-sensei's lessons extend the teachings of Karate to training with traditional Okinawan weapons.
